Organization: Women's Tri-Fitness

This is an organization that came about on the ideal of a prestigious fitness competition for women showcasing their "dedication to health, fitness, and the competitive spirit". Its founder, Al Rosen, wanted to put together an event which embodied a "realistically attainable level of athleticism". The WTF's division of titles allows all competitors to have the option of not having to be judged on their physique but rather their true athletic talents.

In 2002, new divisions were added, the Men's Obstacle Course Challenge (MOCC) and Children's Fitness Challenge (CFC - boys & girls ages 7 to 12), allowing more competitors to get involved as a "family".

My husband, Chris, and I competed in these events for the first time in 2003. Check my photo gallery to see how we did!
