In June 2005, Chris hit the mats at the 2nd Pan American Games of No-Gi Submission Grappling held at CSU Long Beach. Team Magnitude under the instruction of Michio Grubbs took 18 fighters to the tournament and came away with 15 medals including Chris' Silver Medal in the Men's Beginner Light Heavyweight Division.
